2. ESTABLISH INTERNAL ZONES: Install both internal dividers to create three distinct functional zones. Assign Zone 1 to medical and trauma supplies, Zone 2 to sustainment items such as food and water, and Zone 3 to apparel.

3. LOAD BY ACCESS PRIORITY: Place bulky, low-priority items at the bottom of the main compartment. Position high-access items on top. Use the two mesh lid pockets for flat items requiring rapid visual identification, such as maps, compasses, and batteries.

4. ISOLATE BULKY OR WET GEAR: Pack a helmet or wet weather gear into the expandable side compartment to keep it separate from dry gear and allow independent quick access without disrupting the main load.

5. SCALE EXTERNALLY FOR IMMEDIATE-ACCESS ITEMS: Attach a tourniquet pouch and IFAK to the exterior MOLLE webbing so critical medical equipment is reachable without opening the main bag.

6. CONFIGURE FOR VEHICLE TRANSPORT IN DUFFLE MODE: Stow and zip the backpack straps shut to eliminate snag hazards during transit. Use the removable padded shoulder strap or reinforced grab handles to move the bag to the transport vehicle.

7. CONVERT TO BACKPACK MODE FOR FOOT MOVEMENT: Place the bag on a stable surface and unzip the backpack strap compartment. Deploy both padded straps, don the bag as a standard rucksack, and adjust all straps for a snug, high fit against the back to prevent load shifting and reduce operator fatigue during extended movement.

8. SECURE LOOSE WEBBING BEFORE MOVEMENT: Prior to entering confined spaces or dense vegetation, secure all loose MOLLE attachments and adjustment points. Unsecured webbing creates snag hazards that can compromise movement and operator safety.

9. CONDUCT POST-OPERATION INSPECTION: Fully unload the bag after every field operation. Visually inspect all seams for tears or fraying, particularly at strap anchors and handle attachment points. Actuate all zippers and buckles and examine MOLLE loops for cuts or tears that would compromise load-bearing capability.

10. CLEAN AND DRY BEFORE STORAGE: Wipe the interior with a damp cloth and use a soft brush with mild soap on the exterior, paying particular attention to zippers. The PVC bottom may be scrubbed more aggressively. Air dry only in a shaded, well-ventilated area until completely dry before storing to prevent mildew.

11. STORE CORRECTLY TO MAINTAIN READINESS: Store the bag in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, as prolonged UV exposure degrades both the polyester fabric and MOLLE webbing. Close all zippers before storage and do not place heavy objects on top of the bag.
