3. CLEAR AND SECURE FIREARMS: Verify both pistols are unloaded and chamber-clear per standard safety protocols before any packing begins. Place each cleared pistol into a padded gun rug, zip the rug closed, and lay both secured rugs flat inside the main compartment.

4. LOAD MISSION-ESSENTIAL GEAR: Place ammunition boxes into the large divided cell. Stack magazines upright in the smaller divided cell. Confirm all items are seated firmly and will not shift during transit before proceeding.

5. STAGE ANCILLARY EQUIPMENT IN EXTERNAL POCKETS: Place electronic hearing protection and eye protection into one of the two external zippered pockets.
