Quick Overview

The Evac Systems Oxy Backpack is a specialized carriage system for search and rescue, ski patrol, and tactical teams needing to transport an oxygen cylinder and trauma supplies hands-free. Its backpack design allows operators to navigate technical terrain, rappel, ski, or carry a litter while maintaining immediate access to life-support equipment.

Field Application Steps

  1. Secure the oxygen cylinder (D or Jumbo D) into the internal retention system, ensuring it is centered and immobile.
  2. Load medical supplies into the removable organizer panel and attach it securely via the hook-and-loop backing inside the main compartment.
  3. Don and adjust the pack for balanced weight distribution, freeing hands for mobility and other tasks during ingress to the patient.
  4. At the patient's side, lay the pack flat and fully unzip to expose all contents for rapid access.
  5. Deploy the oxygen system and detach the organizer panel to create a mobile, organized workspace for patient care.
