Field Application Steps

  2. Control any life-threatening arterial bleeding with a tourniquet or direct pressure first.
  3. Open the sterile package and apply the pad directly onto the entire wound surface.
  4. Secure the dressing firmly in place using roller gauze or an elastic wrap.
  5. Check for circulation (pulse) below the wrap and reassess for bleed-through.
