1. SCENE SURVEY AND PPE DONNING: Confirm the scene is safe and clear other patrons from the immediate area. Don disposable gloves before any patient contact; put on the disposable gown if significant bleeding is anticipated.

2. PATIENT ASSESSMENT: Approach the patient, introduce yourself, and obtain verbal consent from a conscious patient. Assess Airway, Breathing, and Circulation before initiating any wound care.

3. LACERATION MANAGEMENT: Select a gauze dressing sized to the wound dimensions, apply it directly over the laceration, and hold firm direct pressure. Secure the dressing with a sterile gauze roller bandage or waterproof tape.

4. SPRAIN AND ANKLE INJURY MANAGEMENT: Keep the patient still and immobilize the injured limb. Activate the Instant Cold Pack by squeezing, wrap it in a triangular bandage, and apply it to the swelling site. Do not apply the cold pack directly to skin.

5. CPR AND RESUSCITATION SUPPORT: If the patient is unresponsive and not breathing normally, direct staff to call 911 and retrieve the AED immediately. Begin CPR per your certification training and use the Pocket Resuscitation Mask for rescue breaths. Do not use the mask unless you are CPR-certified.

6. SHOCK MANAGEMENT: For any significant injury, unfold the Mylar Blanket and cover the patient fully to retain body heat and mitigate shock. Continue patient monitoring without interruption until EMS personnel arrive on scene.

7. TRANSFER OF CARE AND DOCUMENTATION: Provide the incoming EMS crew with a complete verbal report covering the mechanism of injury, injuries identified, and all care rendered. Complete all required incident reports per facility protocol before going off duty.

8. POST-INCIDENT RESTOCK: Remove all used items from the kit immediately following the incident. Submit a restock request to facility management and verify the kit is fully restocked and re-inspected before returning it to its designated storage location.
