Field Application Steps

1. SELECT MOUNT LOCATION: Position the pouch on the non-dominant side, just behind the hip, to allow intuitive one-handed access without interfering with the primary weapon system or pistol draw.

2. INTEGRATE MOLLE STRAPS: Unsnap both reinforced vertical straps and weave each through PALS webbing, alternating between the platform's webbing and the pouch's rear webbing. Do not simply pass the strap behind the webbing and snap it closed.

3. CONFIRM MOUNT SECURITY: Fasten all snaps and physically test the pouch for movement. The pouch must be tightly secured with minimal lateral or vertical shift before deployment.

4. DEPLOY FROM STOWED CONFIGURATION: Locate the hook-and-loop roll-up strap on the exterior of the folded pouch, grasp the tab firmly, and pull to disengage. Allow the pouch to unroll fully to its deployed size.

5. OPEN FLAP AND ENGAGE STAY-OPEN TAB: Lift the main top flap and fold it back down into the pouch interior. Press the hook-and-loop fields on the flap and the collar together firmly to lock the mouth fully open for one-handed deposit.

6. DEPOSIT ITEMS UNDER STRESS: With the pouch mouth locked open, use a single-handed sweeping motion to deposit spent magazines, brass, or tools. The rigid collar requires minimal precision and supports gross-motor execution.

8. CINCH THE DRAWSTRING: Grasp both cord locks simultaneously and pull the elastic drawstring until the opening is sufficiently constricted. Slide the cord locks firmly against the pouch body to lock tension before any dynamic movement.

9. TRANSITION TO STOWED CONFIGURATION: Empty all contents from the pouch. Fold the pouch vertically in thirds, then roll tightly from the bottom up toward the mounting platform.

10. SECURE ROLLED CONFIGURATION: Wrap the roll-up strap around the rolled pouch and press the hook-and-loop fields firmly together to hold the compact profile until next deployment.
