Quick Overview

The StatPacks G3+ QuickLook AED Response Backpack is a rapid-deployment equipment carriage system designed for initial responders managing Sudden Cardiac Arrest and life-threatening hemorrhage, used by law enforcement, event security, corporate safety teams, and SAR hasty personnel.

The G3+ QuickLook is purpose-built as a Public Access Defibrillation platform, not a comprehensive medical bag. Its defining feature is the transparent urethane front window, which allows the operator to confirm the AED's "Ready" status indicator without opening the pack, enabling on-the-move readiness checks during approach to the patient. A single large front buckle provides gross-motor access to the main compartment, allowing the front panel to fall fully open for immediate AED deployment. The 45-liter capacity is structured around a focused, mission-essential loadout: AED, BVM, airway adjuncts, and bleeding control.

The pack's interior is configured for operator-customizable deployment using full Velcro loop walls and three removable modular pouches in standard configurations: airway/CPR, bleeding control, and diagnostics. Two large external side pockets accommodate a BVM, additional PPE, or suction devices. The "Stand-Strong" rigid base keeps the pack upright on flat surfaces as a stable field work platform, preventing contact with scene contaminants during active patient care.

Sustainment protocols are tiered across three timelines. After each deployment, operators decontaminate, restock all used supplies, inspect all zippers and buckles, and document use per agency policy. Daily checks confirm AED status through the QuickLook window and verify tamper seals. Monthly inspection includes full inventory, expiration date review on AED pads and batteries, and repacking to ensure clear window visibility.

Field Application Steps

1. DON THE PACK: Secure the G3+ QuickLook using the padded shoulder straps before moving to the patient. Hands-free carriage is required for navigating crowds, stairs, or difficult terrain at speed.

2. CONDUCT AN ON-THE-MOVE STATUS CHECK: While approaching the patient, glance at the transparent urethane front window to confirm the AED's status indicator reads "Ready." Do not break stride to perform this check.

3. ESTABLISH SCENE SAFETY: Upon arrival, confirm the immediate area around the patient is safe for operations before positioning yourself or your equipment.

4. POSITION THE PACK: Place the pack on its "Stand-Strong" rigid base next to the patient's head and shoulders. This creates a stable, upright work platform that keeps equipment off contaminated surfaces.

5. DEPLOY THE AED: Release the single front buckle to allow the panel to fall fully open. Immediately remove the AED and place it on the patient's opposite side, clear of the CPR working space.

6. DELEGATE OR EXECUTE AED SETUP: Direct a trained responder to power on the AED and apply pads to the patient's bare chest. If operating alone, execute this step yourself before beginning CPR.

7. ACCESS SUPPORT EQUIPMENT DURING ANALYSIS: While the AED is analyzing, open the modular pouches or side pockets to retrieve gloves, a CPR mask, or trauma shears for chest exposure. Do not wait until after the first shock to establish PPE.

8. EXECUTE PROTOCOL: Follow AHA BLS protocol or your agency's local standing orders for CPR sequencing, defibrillation, and bleeding control based on the patient's presenting condition. Continue until a higher level of care assumes patient care.

9. POST-DEPLOYMENT SUSTAINMENT: After the incident, decontaminate all pack surfaces with an approved disinfectant and air dry completely. Restock all used supplies including AED pads, perform a full inventory against your agency loadout list, inspect all buckles, zippers, straps, and seams for damage, and document use and restocking per agency policy.
