Quick Overview

The G3+ QuickRoll Intubation Kit is a compact, roll-up airway management organizer designed for ALS providers, tactical medics, and certified paramedics who require rapid access to core endotracheal intubation hardware in space-constrained, high-stress environments.

The kit organizes laryngoscope components, ET tubes, and ancillary intubation tools in a linear, lay-flat configuration that creates a designated workstation the moment it is deployed. Clear mesh pockets allow immediate visual identification of blade and tube sizes without manual searching, while elastic retention loops secure the laryngoscope handle, stylets, and 10cc syringe during transport. The 420D urethane-coated nylon shell provides water resistance and supports effective post-incident decontamination with agency-approved disinfectants such as CaviWipes.

This module is purpose-built for core intubation hardware only. Operators must carry supplemental items separately, including a Bag-Valve-Mask, suction unit, medications, and surgical cricothyrotomy kit. The kit is sold unstocked, and all loadout decisions must conform to the operator's agency protocols and medical director's authorization. Daily pre-shift inspection includes buckle function verification and exterior damage assessment, while weekly inspection requires full unrolling, cuff leak testing, laryngoscope light checks, and expiration date verification.

Post-procedure protocol is equally critical to operational readiness. The kit must be treated as contaminated following any patient contact, removed from operational status, and fully cleaned before restocking. Reusable items such as blades and handles must be decontaminated separately per manufacturer specifications before being returned to the kit.

Field Application Steps

1. STAGE THE KIT: Verbally identify the need for the intubation kit, retrieve the red G3+ QuickRoll module from its stowed position, and place it on the patient's upper chest or near the patient's head oriented for provider access.

2. DEPLOY THE KIT: Depress both sides of the single side-release buckle simultaneously and allow the kit to unroll fully into its lay-flat configuration on the available surface.

3. IDENTIFY CORRECT EQUIPMENT: Visually scan the clear mesh pockets to locate the correct laryngoscope blade type and ET tube size required for the patient without manual searching.

4. ASSEMBLE AND TEST LARYNGOSCOPE: Attach the blade to the handle and confirm the light is white, bright, and tight before proceeding.

5. TEST ET TUBE CUFF: Using the 10cc syringe from the retention loops, inflate the ET tube cuff to check for leaks, then fully deflate the cuff prior to insertion.

6. PERFORM INTUBATION: Execute the intubation procedure per your agency's ALS protocol and medical director's authorization.

7. MANAGE POST-PROCEDURE EQUIPMENT: Do not immediately re-roll the kit after the airway is secured. Set all contaminated reusable equipment aside for separate decontamination and discard single-use items in a proper biohazard container.

8. DECONTAMINATE THE KIT: Treat the kit itself as contaminated until fully cleaned. Wipe all surfaces, seams, and the buckle assembly with an agency-approved disinfectant such as CaviWipes per protocol.

9. RESTOCK AND RETURN TO READINESS: Once decontamination is complete, fully restock the kit to standard agency loadout, confirm all ET tube sizes and blade types are present, verify expiration dates, and confirm laryngoscope light function and battery status before returning the kit to operational status.
