Quick Overview

The StatPacks G3+ Remedy Kit is a compact, soft-sided modular organizer used by EMS operators and medical responders to pre-configure mission-specific medical supply loadouts for rapid deployment during targeted patient encounters.

The G3+ Remedy Kit is engineered as a sub-load carrier, not a primary response bag. Its approximate 9-by-6-by-3-inch footprint allows integration into StatPacks G3+ main packs or carriage in an operator's cargo pocket. Five authorized loadout configurations support distinct field-ready capability sets: ALS IV Access, BLS/ALS Diabetic Emergency, ALS First-Line Medication, Minor Wound Care, and Personal Diagnostic. Each configuration is purpose-built to deliver a defined treatment modality without requiring the operator to search through a larger system under pressure.

The kit's clamshell zipper opens fully flat, converting the organizer into a stable workspace with immediate visual access to all contents. Interior zippered mesh pockets with high-visibility fine-weave construction allow instant identification of ampoules, vials, and small supplies while retaining them securely even if the kit is inverted or dropped. The soft-sided, non-rigid structure accommodates irregularly shaped items such as a folded stethoscope or BP cuff, maximizing usable internal volume beyond what molded plastic alternatives allow.

Readiness protocols are built into the deployment cycle. Every kit requires a pre-shift inspection covering exterior integrity, labeling accuracy, content verification, and zipper function. After any item is used, the entire kit is removed from front-line service, decontaminated if indicated, restocked against an established inventory list, verified, and returned to its designated staging location. External labeling, described in the SOP as critically important, prevents scene hesitation by identifying kit contents before the clamshell is opened.

Field Application Steps

1. DEFINE YOUR MISSION SET: Identify the specific treatment modality required for the deployment and select the corresponding authorized loadout configuration, such as IV Access, Diabetic Emergency, or Minor Wound Care.

2. ASSEMBLE AND VERIFY COMPONENTS: Gather all required medical supplies per local protocol and confirm every item is within its expiration date before packing. Do not stage any expired or compromised supplies.

3. PACK FOR SEQUENTIAL ACCESS: Organize supplies within the interior mesh pockets in order of anticipated use. For a Diabetic Emergency configuration, place the glucometer and test strips in one pocket and treatment supplies such as oral glucose or glucagon administration supplies in a separate pocket.

4. SECURE ALL INTERNAL ZIPPERS: Close every interior mesh pocket zipper fully to ensure positive retention of all contents, including small items such as lancets, ampoules, and vials, during transport and handling.

5. APPLY EXTERNAL LABEL: Affix a durable, high-contrast label to the exterior of the kit identifying its contents, for example DIABETIC, IV START, or MEDS. This step is critical to eliminating confusion and hesitation on scene.

6. STAGE THE KIT: Place the configured and labeled kit in its designated location within the primary response pack or on personal gear, ready for immediate retrieval.

7. IDENTIFY AND RETRIEVE ON SCENE: Based on dispatch information and scene assessment, retrieve the correctly labeled Remedy Kit from the primary pack. Confirm the label matches the clinical need before proceeding.

8. ESTABLISH YOUR WORKSPACE: Place the kit on the most stable and clean surface available at the patient's side before opening.

9. OPEN THE KIT: Grasp both zipper pulls and draw them in a single continuous motion to open the kit fully into its flat clamshell configuration, presenting all contents for immediate visual access.

10. ACCESS AND EMPLOY SUPPLIES: Visually identify the required item through the mesh. Unzip only the corresponding pocket needed and employ the supply per your training and jurisdictional protocol.

11. ACCOUNT FOR MATERIALS POST-INTERVENTION: Secure all sharps immediately in a proper sharps container. Police all packaging and waste from the scene before closing the kit.

12. DESIGNATE KIT STATUS AND INITIATE RESTOCKING: Close all internal zippers and the main clamshell zipper fully. Flag the kit as non-mission-capable and route it for immediate decontamination and restocking per service policy before returning it to front-line staging.
