Quick Overview

The StatPacks G3+ Responder Complete ALS Bundle is a modular, backpack-based equipment carriage system used by certified paramedics, flight medics, SAR medics, and tactical medics to transport and deploy a full Advanced Life Support loadout from a vehicle or aircraft to the patient's side in a single carry.

The G3+ Responder Bundle is built around a color-coded modular cell architecture that organizes ALS equipment by intervention type: airway management, vascular access, and medication administration. Each G3+ Cell functions as a standalone deployment unit that can be handed directly to a partner provider, enabling parallel treatment tracks during cardiac arrest, multi-system trauma, or mass casualty operations. The clear-view urethane windows on each cell allow operators to visually confirm contents without opening the module, reducing time-to-intervention under operational stress.

The chassis itself is engineered for field readiness over distance and difficult terrain. The "street-to-back" deployment design keeps the harness system off contaminated ground surfaces, while G3+ pathogen-resistant fabric provides a barrier against fluid penetration and simplifies post-call decontamination. Large external side pockets stage a D-sized oxygen cylinder, portable suction, or diagnostic equipment for immediate access upon patient contact, without requiring operators to open the main compartment.

Sustainment protocol is built into the system's design. After every call, operators decontaminate exposed surfaces, restock expended cells, and conduct a visual inspection for hardware damage. Beginning-of-shift periodic inspections require a full layout, zipper and buckle actuation, fabric integrity check, expiration date verification on all medications and sterile supplies, and systematic repacking, which reinforces operator familiarity with the equipment layout before it is needed in the field.

Field Application Steps

1. PRE-DEPLOYMENT VERIFICATION: Open each G3+ Cell and verify all contents against your service's master loadout list. Confirm critical equipment, including a D-sized oxygen cylinder and diagnostic tools, is staged in the external side pockets.

2. DON AND ADJUST SUSPENSION: Put on the G3+ Responder Backpack before dismounting the apparatus. Adjust shoulder straps, sternum strap, and waist strap to fit securely against your torso to distribute load and minimize fatigue over the carry distance.

3. APPROACH WITH HANDS FREE: Proceed to the patient location with both hands unencumbered. The pack carries the full ALS loadout, preserving your ability to navigate stairs, obstacles, or uneven terrain safely.

4. STAGE THE PACK ON ARRIVAL: Upon reaching the patient's location, place the pack on the ground with shoulder straps facing upward. This street-to-back orientation keeps the harness system clean, dry, and free of ground contaminants.

5. CONDUCT PRIMARY ASSESSMENT: Fully unzip the main compartment. Perform your primary assessment using MARCH or ABCDE protocol. Identify which interventions are required before removing any cell.

6. DEPLOY THE APPROPRIATE CELL: Remove only the cell required by your clinical findings: the Airway Cell for a compromised airway, the Intravenous Cell for vascular access needs, or the Medicine Cell for medication administration. Work directly out of the deployed cell.

7. DELEGATE BY MODULE: If additional providers arrive on scene, hand them the appropriate self-contained cell to enable parallel intervention. Each cell is designed to function independently without requiring access to the main pack.

8. MAINTAIN SCENE DISCIPLINE: Return all tools to their designated cell immediately after each intervention is complete. Do not allow equipment to accumulate on the floor or scatter across the scene.

9. EXECUTE RECONSTITUTION: After care transfer, retrieve all equipment to its designated cell. Secure all cells, close and verify all zippers are fully seated, and re-don the pack for transport back to the apparatus.

10. PERFORM POST-MISSION SUSTAINMENT: Wipe down the pack exterior and all exposed cells with a service-approved disinfectant. Restock every cell that was opened. Conduct a visual inspection for tears, broken buckles, or zipper damage before returning the system to service-ready storage.
