The Cammenga G.I. Special Tritium Lensatic Compass is made for navigating through deep cold, high heat and fading light, functional from -50°F to +150°F. It is shock, water and sand proof, so a hard trip does not cost you your heading.
Seven tritium micro lights allow navigation in low-light conditions, and the aluminum frame with a waterproof housing is built to last. Made in the USA in Olive Drab.
Why it works:
- Works across extreme temperatures: Bitter cold and hot days are covered, with a functional range from -50°F to +150°F.
- Shrugs off rough handling: Drops, wet conditions and grit are part of the plan, since the compass is shock, water and sand proof.
- Navigation as the light drops: The dial stays usable as dusk sets in, thanks to seven tritium micro lights.
- Readings you can trust: A magnifying lens, sighting wire and dial graduations in degrees and mils help ensure accurate readings, while copper induction dampening slows the magnet without liquids.
- Built to last and easy to carry: Its aluminum frame and waterproof housing were built to last, and the box adds a carrying pouch with belt clip.
