Roots and packed ground stop an ordinary shovel cold. The Rothco Deluxe Tri-Fold Shovel answers with a serrated edge on one side that cuts through tough dirt, roots and debris, plus a head that locks at 90 and 180 degrees so you can scoop up bulk materials or spearhead into the ground.

Heavy-duty steel handles rigorous use, and the D-style handle gives you control and comfort through the dig. Folded into 3 sections, it stores in a bag, vehicle or equipment box.

Why it works:

  • Two working angles: Switch between scooping and spearing as the ground changes, with head lock positions at 90 and 180 degrees.
  • Cuts what blocks the dig: Get past roots instead of digging around them, using the serrated edge on one side of the blade.
  • Control through every stroke: Keep a steady grip during digging tasks with a D-style handle shaped for control and comfort.
  • Made for hard use: The shovel is crafted from heavy-duty steel to withstand rigorous use.
  • Stows where you need it: Its collapsible design folds into 3 sections to store in a bag, vehicle or equipment box.

For campers, gardeners and emergency preparers who need a folding shovel that cuts through roots and tough dirt.
