- Expose the wound and tear open the vacuum-sealed package at the red notches.
- Place the white sterile pad directly over the source of bleeding.
- Wrap the elastic bandage tightly around the limb, stretching to create pressure with each overlapping pass.
- Secure the end of the wrap using the integrated plastic closure bar.
- Check for bleeding control and assess distal circulation (pulse, capillary refill) below the bandage.
