- Load mission-specific rescue tools like wire cutters or search rope into the top exterior pocket.
- Upon RIT activation, transport the bag by carrying or dragging it via its "Tuff Bottom" to the downed firefighter's location.
- At the victim, open the main compartment to provide immediate access to the life-saving air supply.
- After the incident, empty, decontaminate, inspect, and reload the bag to return it to a ready state.
